Children's Poem 1 - Islam


Say, Your Lord is One! He is Great!
He begets not, nor is He begotten, He has no mate!
All men mortal! Each must remember his appointed date!
Pray now 'fore you're prayed after & tis too little, too late!
Perform a perfect wudu and say,
"Ash-hadu 'an laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa 'ash-hadu 'anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasooluhu"
Opened then for you every gate!
Enter then paradise! Relaxing & reclining on couches amidst friends & family, these old stories would you then relate!
Or neglect only to regret having boiling water to quench the thirsts and pus-filled exudates for a fasting hunger to sate!
But dont fear or fret! This wretched destination is only a disobedient one's fate!
So will you let them your Prophet ﷺ berate?
Or waste time arguing in academic debate?
Nay! Let your heart guide, for these worldly gains will one day subside!
Make no mistake! For shaytaan to man is an open enemy, this Ummah he wants to divide! Ye' must never divide!
Love your brother for Allah's sake, do not put your akhira' at stake! Give good advice and also take!
Stand against any evil and apartheid, the consequences you must not mind!
With Allah, a most just end will you then find!

 The Grand Forest of Tomorrow Sandals of stone, till brim and bone... Candles to atone, all grim and alone... All my why's slip away, all shy and bye... Could I but cry, those tears now dry... I look sky high, those fears now fly... Try as I, trouble and truffle, my very lie... Her lunar eclipse scuffled, my son's sun muffled... For my trifle, they all now stifle... A pin to my chin and head held to a rifle! They fail to flail my skin, so weld by lead, none to take his stead!  They pontificate all pompous, but they lay upon the bay of pompeii!  Much to my dismay do I say, you have lost your way, far away and astray... Into Vesuvius' volcanic depth you lept, morality cleft all asunder... Will you still not surrender? Or wish ye' to be her ashtray?

  Poem 13- Slithering in a Sandstorm   How many volts of static shock? How many vaults with hearts in lock? How many talk only to mock! Astray do they all walk! Like a pigeon's eyes shut 'fore the cat's pounce, left not a shred of honor nor dignity, not even an ounce.... We'd rather pretend than our ways mend... Every carnage courting carnival and flagrancy fueled festival, every Halloween party and Christmas dinner must we at our own gunpoints, attend... Dearest friend, listen close for the information I am about to disclose runs deeper than its poetic prose... For the silent sentinel, no longer sentimental, barely stands watering this graveyard's lone rose.... This advise only can I afford to lend, the Qur'ān must ye read, this I recommend! And yet again, I recommend! Unveil then its cosmic secrets once revealed, ever revered... Its saves from an abysmal edge, any downtrodden on shaytaan's sledge...
